An image taken in the Peak District on a sunny foggy summer morning.
Oh the neglict, naughty, naughty. Anyway, back on track now. Here we have an image, which in some ways has some subliminal meaning to my life. Yes it is a wonderful location, but extremely difficult and challenging to get to. Hidden away, this waterfall in the Black Clough area of the Peak District, is a scramble to get to at best. Crossing the stream, rain dependent, can be easy or treacherous. With no obvious path, it is literally, scramling over rocks, until your reach the waterfall. Even then it not easy to photograph and only for the semi fit and able to attempt. The route back is the same. It was a difficult challenge, but worth it in the end.
The heather moorland stands out during the summer months on Owler Tor.
