There was good news this week from the post when the results from the 49th Annual Exhibition of Midlands Photography (also known as MidPhot) were sent out. I had 4 entries in the Mono print section. Lady luck was shining on my a little as the three judges thought that three of my entries were worthy enough to be accepted into the exhibition. First up was Full Steam Ahead and this was awarded 11+ points, secondly Rutland Street was awarded 12 points and lastly The Sky at Night was awarded 12 points. Each image is marked out of 15 (with each of the three judges giving a score of up to 5). Then there is an accepted mark and for the Mono it was 11+. The other print, Park Life, just missed out with 10 points. Details about visiting the exhibition can be found here and I will be excited to see my prints.
