Apparently, no dinosaur world is complete without a volcano. So, we fashioned one out of some scrap cardboard and tissue paper. I admit it is a little crude but apparantly it’s perfect for the pterodactyl who lives there (who knew eh ?!) Water – just a centimetre or two in the bottom of the bowl is all you need, add food colouring if you want. The slime should keep well in a covered container for a few days. It’s not a great idea to wash the corn flour down the drain so when you are done let it dry out and then put it in the rubbish. This cute little fossil of nature can be found by hatching a Dinosaur egg you might find in Skull Cavern or by hitting Artifact Spots. The Egg will take 12 and a half days to hatch after incubation, and then you'll have a small Dino that lays its own Eggs every seven days.

If it’s too dry you may need to add a little water, but it will depend on how much (if any!) food colouring you have added to the mixture. Both my children are pretty creative so when either of them comes to me and says that they want to make something, I am pretty indulgent and on a whole – unless they ask for help – I leave them to it.
