Description

The hardshell case is impact and drop resistant, and, thanks to its neoprene seal, is watertight when properly closed. The HPRC case for the DJI Inspire 2 is designed for increased safety and efficient transportability. This watertight hard case for the DJI Phantom 4 is based on the HPRC2710 series and features a pre-cut high-density foam interior. Protect Mini SE’s propellers for added flight safety. Suitable for flying indoors and locations with obstacles.

With a range of industry-leading solutions available from companies such as HPRC, GPC, PGYTECH, PolarPro, and DJI, there is plenty of choice of drone cases available. But which one is best for you? In addition to boasting one of Australia’s largest collections of drone accessories designed specifically with the DJI Mini SE in mind, you can be sure that all products are of the highest quality. We are passionate drone enthusiasts ourselves, and work exclusively with products we’d happily use ourselves. At first glance, the Mini 2 SE looks to be pretty much like the now-discontinued Mavic Mini, the first of the company's drones to weigh less than 250 grams — the threshold for which you need to register it with the FAA. The impact and drop-resistant case also features an automatic release valve to equalise air pressure when travelling between different elevations. GPC's case for the DJI M600 comprises tons of storage cavities to ensure you have everything you need.If you can run to it, we’d suggest that the Mini 2 is the better choice, featuring as it does a good bit more flexibility when it comes to stills and video, not to mention a bit more straight-line speed. If you’re in a few countries, like the UK, DJI has even spared you the effort of making that decision by failing to release the Mini SE where you can buy it. When closed, this watertight case can withstand being submerged in shallow water due to its neoprene seal.

DJI O2 Transmission technology: A maximum video transmission range of 10 km with excellent anti-interference capabilities If you own a drone, or are thinking of buying one, an important consideration is choosing the best drone case to help you protect your aircraft and transport it easily. Neither drone has a world-beating camera. They’re both great, and do a more than adequate job of adjusting their white balance and exposure in automatic mode, but both also benefit from a little bit of planning on the part of the operator: keep the light behind you, do take advantage of manual exposure when you’re doing something the camera’s programming doesn’t seem to understand. As a word of warning, the case is not suitable for the RTK model, but provides plenty of storage space for the M200 and M210 V2 drones, plus accessories.

The Mini 2 also features DJI’s new meatier controller design which can act as an umbilical for the phone’s battery ( iPhone users might need to enable this in the settings). Flying drones and using your phones screen as a monitor, probably turned up to maximum brightness too, will use your charge up. If you’re undertaking a serious amount of flying in a day with the SE, you’ll likely need a power bank, but with the Mini 2 you can be confident the controller will keep things topped up.

Tested with a production model DJI Mini 2 SE in a controlled environment. Actual experience may vary depending on the environment, usage, and firmware version. High-quality imaging: A 3-axis gimbal and 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor that takes 12MP and photos shoots video at 2.7K HD The extra speed of the Mini 2 can get you some better shots in some circumstances (and you have the option of switching to a slower speed for something more cinematic). Climbing faster or traveling faster all make for faster looking video, though of course the still images are a matter of positioning first then shooting. This isn’t an area you’ll see a lot of differentiation between these drones for obvious reasons, but examining things closely yields a few differences. For one thing the 4K camera on the Mini 2 has a nice shiny trim and just above it is a light which can change hue to indicate different situations.Dimensions: Internal: 749 x 525 x 366mm / 29.49 x 20.67 x 14.41in. External: 810 x 586.5 x 388mm / 31.89 x 23.09 x 15.28in. Flight time is measured in a controlled test environment. Specific test conditions are as follows: flying forward at a constant speed of 17 kph in a windless laboratory environment, in photo mode (without photo-taking operation during flight), and from 100% battery level until 0%. Under the video heading, the Mini 2 has a very distinct advantage if 4K is of use to you. It is worth stopping to think whether it is; if you’re producing for YouTube you’d be surprised how few viewers switch up to 4K, for example, and plenty of screens are small enough that it’s hard to justify the server load.
